Summer and Travel

March 3, 2023

love and realationship

As March starts, summer is about to get cracking.  Traveling can be a good break from adulting.  A quick escape from the heat and your daily grind can be refreshing.  Iba ang maidudulot na saya nito forda pagoda at init na ferson in you.

Visiting a new place helps you refresh your mind. Along the way, you can meet new people, try new dishes and take a plunge into new cultural experiences.

Huwag nang sabayan ang init ng panahon ng init ng ulo kung ikaw ay magtatravel. Here are some tips that can make the trip chill lang:

  1. Plan. Planning a vacation can be overwhelming. Totoo yan, pero hindi pwedeng sabay-sabay mo lahat puntahan ang nasa travel bucket list mo. Piliin mo lang muna kung ano ang kaya ng budget at saan ka magiging masaya.
If you plan to travel by air, mag abang ng piso fare so you can maximize your holiday budget.

  2. Search. In choosing the best place to stay at, magbasa ng mga reviews.  Compare booking sites offers versus the actual hotel website. Consider factors such as location, facilities, dining options and hotel sanitation.
Pero kung gusto makatipid, baka pwedeng makituloy sa kaibigan o kamag anak na dun nakatira sa lugar na pupuntahan.

  3. Book. When you have finally planned where to go and stay, mag book ka na ng ticket! Kung by land, air or sea man yan, mas mabuting may advanced booking para siguradong may seat reservation ka na, unless gusto mong kumandong kay “manong pilot” o “kuya driver”.

  4. Pack.  ‘Wag magdala ng sobrang dami. Hindi ka naman doon titira, hindi ba? Pack light! But make sure not to cut the essentials - towels, tissue, power bank, first aid kit, medicines and antibiotics. Also have copies, digital and printouts, of important documents para kung sakali mawala yung original may back up ka.
There are countries that use different types of socket outlets, check this one out and thank me later.

  5. Purchase travel insurance. You think this is unnecessary? Believe me, kailangan mo ‘to either you’re traveling locally or internationally dahil ‘di mo alam kung kailan magkakaroon ng aberya. Mabuti nang protected ka all throughout your trip.

  6. Create memories. Capture each moment and enjoy every bit of your trip. Spend time with your family or friends or choose to connect with nature and to the world. Try new things in life while ensuring your safety.

Life's too short, you know? Oo, may gastos pero the memories and experiences ay hindi mapapalitan, mababayaran or makukuha ng iba sa ‘yo.  Go ahead, book that trip!
